Mission Assurance Assessment Subject Matter Expert
Bring in-depth understanding and expertise to one or more aspects of service or joint missions, processes, and culture. Apply specific functional knowledge and working general industry knowledge. Develop and contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. This position requires the ability to travel 35% of the time.
5+ years of experience with the Department of Defense, in areas such as Mission Assurance, Security Forces, Military Police, Law Enforcement or Physical Security
5+ years of experience in conducting risk vulnerability assessments analysis and recommending action or mitigation to eliminate vulnerabilities to risks, missions, and forces
5 years of experience with integrating protection programs into Mission Assurance construct, providing Mission Assurance training, and preparing and briefing Mission Assurance to senior leaders
5 years of experience with operational planning support for Vulnerability or Mission Assurance Assessments, including researching, developing and maintaining Assessment Schedules, providing Task Critical Asset analysis pairing, and developing Assessment planning products, including Letters of Instruction, Assessment Focus Statements, Program of Action and Milestones, All Hazard Threat Assessments, Detailed Information Requirements, and Concept of Operations briefings
Knowledge of Mission Assurance Database Programs of Record Task Critical Assets and Risk Vulnerability Mitigation Tracking
Ability to be medically deployable and capable of travel to the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility up to 35% for the year
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Secret clearance required
BA or BS degree required
Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Mission Assurance Assessment Course
