Naval IT Scheduler, Mid
Do you love guiding a project as it develops from concept to completion? Do you have the attention to detail needed to catch issues and course correct? With deliverables on the horizon and a budget to keep in check, project teams need guidance with vision and focus. That's why we need you, with the skills to provide thought leadership and expertise in supporting a United States Navy (USN) Program Management Office (PMO) for acquisition and sustainment management of an Acquisition Category (ACAT)/Business Category (BCAT) I program. Apply program and project management best practices to managing the cost, schedule, and performance of Navy Information Technology (IT) systems. Work with DoD IT stakeholders to understand applicable policies and requirements. Use Microsoft Project to develop, status, and analyze schedules in order to monitor progress, assess project status, and identify performance issues in a timely manner. Provide the project team and DoD clients with critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments and mitigation planning, reporting, and Gannt Chart views.
Coordinate with requiring Government activities and Contractor personnel to meet project milestones and minimize risk. Identify issues, develop recommendations for issue resolution, and escalate status updates to client leadership. Work on assigned tasks that are typically of high visibility and work products that inform senior executives in the DoD chain of command.

- 3+ years of experience with DoD program management for ACAT programs across the acquisition life cycle
- Experience with developing senior level briefs, reports, executive summaries, and analysis
- Knowledge of scheduling tools, including Microsoft Project
- Ability to managing multiple projects, adjusting to shifting priorities and solving problems quickly
- Secret clearance
- BA or BS degree
