PAI and OSINT Analyst, Mid

The Challenge:

With all the information available today, it takes a skilled analyst to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. As an Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and Publicly Available Information (PAI) analyst, you use your specialized analytic skills, experience, and your attention to detail to develop analytic assessments, reports, and products to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters and to protect our national security.

As an analyst on our team, you'll help your client understand their operational landscape and mission environment. Using your comprehensive understanding of various collection platforms, you'll explore new data sources, build effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources including other forms of intelligence collection, and publicly available information. You'll validate information and develop tradecraft as you build assessments for internal client publications and US IC-wide products. As the authority on OSINT and PAI, your client will look to you for time critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise and broaden your skillset into areas like intelligence tradecraft and presentations to senior leadership. You'll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring. You Have:

-3+ years of experience with OSINT using PAI

-Experience with INDOPACOM AOR intelligence problem sets

-Experience with PAI analytic principles, including database administration, the web, geo-enabled PAI, and the Berber Hunter Tool Kit

-Experience with internet-based research, including Boolean logic, search engine, and database resources and internet sources, including social media, social networking tools, data exploitation, and commercial- and industry-based databases

-Experience with signals intelligence (SIGINT), human intelligence (HUMINT), or geospatial intelligence (GEOINT)

-Knowledge of national and service-specific OSINT policy and regulations

-Ability to conduct independent analysis to support mission requirements and use enhanced search procedures and tools to support the usage of PAI

-TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with advanced search techniques, information databases, data visualization, and related tools

-Experience in working with another combatant command area of responsibility (AOR), including Central Command, European Command, Africa Command, or South Command

-Knowledge of all-source intelligence processes, data evaluation, and analytical tools and databases

-Ability to manage research and coordination for long-term projects

-TS/SCI clearance ​with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree

-Completion of OS301 Basic Open Source Intelligence Course

-Completion of OS302 Intermediate OSINT Tools and Tradecraft

-Completion of OS303 Advanced OSINT Tradecraft Course

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
