Scientific Engineering Technical Assistant
When an organization has multiple moving parts involved in their processes, it can be difficult for them to examine their processes critically. If they want to learn how to become more efficient and successful, they need a consultant who will take the time to learn their end-to-end programmatic processes and provide them with ways to change for the better. That's why we need you, a business process specialist who can analyze every aspect of your customer's operations and give them the steps to improve their process.
As a business process specialist on our team, you'll analyze your client's current operating environment and identify areas for improvement. You'll analyze discussions with leadership, teammates, clients, and other office staff with related expertise that will help refine your client's definition of success and identify current frustrations. You'll work on the design of data collection plans, communicate your research and illustrative analysis using multiple techniques to help establish understanding and agreement from key decision makers. On our team, you'll work with other practitioners with the same job function to support a collection of scientists in cutting edge technology to provide your client with recommendations along with a solid grasp of the quantitative or qualitative results they can expect. - Experience with financial analysis
- Ability to manage multiple program and project milestones
- Ability to monitor and execute budget related activities, including development of spend plans and requirements gathering
- Ability to create presentations for high level government officials, including briefings that determining milestone decisions
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and sharing best practices amongst multiple stakeholders
- Ability to analyze multiple forms and documentation for accuracy and completeness
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- BA or BS degree

- Knowledge of COGNOS reporting
