Software Development Engineer, Senior

We're looking for a developer to provide day-to-day hands-on tactical leadership to a software development team, including overseeing the team's operations and processes, championing and modeling software quality and craftsmanship, and updating stakeholders on progress. You will help the development team to manage expectations, build and communicate realistic plans, and improve continuously. Supporting program and project managers, you may also provide second-level management to technical delivery staff and have a role in hiring and training staff. You'll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you're developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. -5+ years of experience with full stack development, including Java and open source software technologies
-2+ years of experience with DevOps technologies, Scrum, and Agile software development methodologies and tools, including Git and Jira
-2+ years of experience with helping to lead technical teams and mentoring junior staff
-2+ years of experience with the SDLC, including automated testing
-Ability to work in a team environment
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-MA or MS degree
-Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire
Nice If You Have:
-Experience with open systems architecture design principles
-Experience with a satellite mission management system
-Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 110,600 to 175,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
