Technical Product Senior Manager
The Challenge:
Thousands of employees across Booz Allen depend on timely access to the specialized tools they need to do their jobs. Ensuring key tools and services are available, secure, and supported is the mission of the engineers, product owners, and technicians that make up the teams within Specialized Services team within Booz Allen's internal IT division. We need you, an experienced engineering leader, to manage multiple delivery teams and ensure that Booz Allen employees get the services they depend on.
As the technical product manager, you will connect business needs from users and stakeholders to the delivery of tools and services. You will collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the diverse array of products we offer employees. You will guide the teams in thinking through how to improve our delivery architecture, evaluate new capabilities, and optimize integrations between existing services. You bring real-world experience doing software or other technical delivery to inform how to scale services to support hundreds of teams. You are curious and always bring a continuous improvement mindset. You will mentor and develop a passionate group of team leaders to help them bring their best every day. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.
You Have:
8+ years of experience working in a software delivery, systems operations, or IT service delivery field
5+ years of experience in leadership roles on technical delivery teams
Experience presenting and communicating to teams, executives, and clients, including briefings, sales calls, and team-based discussions
Experience setting project roadmaps and managing schedules and milestones
Knowledge of Slack, Git, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of Agile delivery practices
Ability to synthesize technical content and distill into key messages that will resonate with senior business leaders
Ability to mentor and guide other product and project managers
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree

Experience thinking quantitatively about key performance indicators and metrics
Experience working with vendor contracts
Experience working with tiered user support models
Experience managing project or program financials
Experience with Power Platform, including Automate, Flow, or Power BI
Knowledge of infrastructure operations, such as networking, server administration, and virtualization
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure basics
Ability to attend occasional meetings in McLean, VA
Master's degree
AWS Certifications a plus

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $134,600.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.EEO Commitment
