This exciting new role is integral to the on trade sales function of B-F, driving performance in B-F UK's major RTM partners. The key responsibility is to deliver NSV and profitability for Brown Forman as well as to establish and maintain a strong relationship with the customer and to achieve the objectives assigned to the channel and your accounts (Matthew Clark, Tennents and Bibendum). Working with the NAM, you will help define sales, distribution, inventory/ stock, promotional goals and commercial strategies for your accounts; including analysis of sales, distribution and promotion performance, implementation and evaluation of trade activities.
Build and develop a strong relationship customer(s) and understand what drives their decisions, learning about the business and motivating them to purchase and promote B-F brands
Build strong internal relationships. working with the brand teams, finance, trade marketing, sales operations and supply chain among others
Meet/exceed annual volume, value & profit objectives of all brands across your account, continuously detecting and developing both the customer's and B-F's business opportunities
Work closely with the NAM, National RTM Manager and other internal stakeholders on the development of annual plans, promotion activities, business and portfolio strategies, yearly budgets and quarterly projections, trade terms, price structures, profit margins, etc;
Negotiate and close annual and seasonal commercial agreements with account
Analyse market trends, competitor activity and identify strengths and weaknesses of our brands in the market, aiding sales planning, discount spending and budgeting
Coordinate customer administration, manage billing, invoicing issues. stock management and availability
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Business related area and previous experience working in a sales position, with a proven ability to build and establish an effective network and relationships in the RTM sector. Previous experience working in wine and spirits or luxury FMCG industries is preferable.
