Job Description: Hours: Mon - Fri 8am - 4:30pm

Job Summary / Purpose: Support leadership, direct care providers and all stakeholders to ensure the delivery of clinically excellent care through quality data, education integration of nursing research and communication. The Quality Review Nurse will be responsible for ensuring quality of care through quality data abstraction and audits including identification of cases, data entry and submission; data verification and preparation of reports. Primary functions include CMS Core Measures, National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators, HCAHPS, ORYX and other required quality data. The role will support accurate communication of quality performance through aggregation of data results for the Medical Executive Committee, Leadership, and Corporate Quality and Safety Dashboard. Support identification of performance opportunities and dissemination of clinical staff to improve the quality of care based on the dissemination of the results. In addition, the quality review nurse will work collaboratively to collect, analyze data to ensure ongoing adherence of ASURE pathways and make programmatic improvements related to outcomes and makes programmatic improvements related to outcomes through collaboration, project management, and performance improvement activities.

Requirements: Current State Illinois Registered Nurse License

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

OCN certification

Preferred: Minimum of five (5) years' experience in acute care nursing experience, oncology experience preferred .

Role within a Magnet organization preferred

Certified Cause Analysis training preferred

Master's degree in nursing, healthcare, is strongly preferred
