3 North is a 25 bed, Medical-Surgical unit providing care to a variety of patients: Renal disease, Liver disease, Respiratory failure, Tele, Minor Cardiac, Sepsis, Wound Care and Minor Surgeries. Part of 3 North is designated to camera rooms. This allows the unit to take close observation patients with the ability to provide extra care and supervision needed to keep the patients safe.
3 North RNs have a 1:4/5 patient ratio. The unit has a Unit Secretary and LPN during the day and CNAs both days and nights. There is always a Charge Nurse or Resource Nurse on the unit along with Assistant Nurse Managers, who if not on the unit, someone is on-call.
3 North takes great pride in their care for the patients with a focus on quality, safety and the patient experience. The unit works close as a team along with other departments to give excellent care. There are many Nurses who are Medical-Surgical Certified in this specialty area. We are excited to have you be a part of our team.
