Provides direction and manages medical clinic operations.
Medical Emergency Response:
Takes a lead role in Medical Emergency Response in the Emergency Management Process
Examine patient onsite and provides initial lifesaving interventions; evacuate the patient to suitable hospital
Ensures access to emergency care for Dhaka and Gasplant based company employees and contractors
Acts as the mediator between internal and external resources for Medical intervention or evaluations
Provides occupational and personal health consultation to workforce as necessary.
Manages medical emergency and after hour medical calls including medical case management on work related injuries and illness.
Health Resource Facilitation:
Understands local health & medical resource capability and acts a patient advocate in medical situations
Investigates & updates company knowledge of local medical resources, including reviews of facilities and personnel for quality, reliability and costs.
Program Development and Process Implementation:
Assists Health and Medical (H&M) with alignment of objectives and deliverables; maintain Clinical Practice Guideline and Standard Operating Procedure
Oversees medical surveillance programs and metrics; takes a lead role in Fitness for Duty (FFD) determinations Own, Lead and develop H&M staff on Operational Excellence (OE) process competencies and implementation;
Projects and Training:
Takes a lead role in planning and implementing Food Safety, first aid training and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Programs
Special projects, programs and other duties as assigned by H&M Supervisor or Regional Medical Manager.
MBBS is the minimum qualification. Must be registered to practice as licensed health care professional in Bangladesh. 6 years industry or public health and primary or emergency care related work experience. Project development and management experience will be an added advantage. ACLS and ATLS or ITLS is preferred.
