LEAD PHARMACY TECHNICIAN
SUMMIT OAKS HOSPITAL
Hours: This is a full time position, working 8:30am-5:00pm Mondays through Fridays.
As a Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
About the Facility: Summit Oaks Hospital, a private psychiatric and chemical dependence center, has been serving the Northeast region since 1902. The facility includes a 126-bed hospital and an outpatient counseling center that serves children, adolescents and adults. Summit Oaks is licensed by the state of New Jersey and is fully accredited by the Joint Commission (JCAHO).
About the Pharmacy: The Pharmacy is open weekdays from 8:00am-6:00pm, and weekends from 8:00am-12:00pm.
- 2 years' current experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital setting
- New Jersey Registration as a Pharmacy Technician required
- Experience filling 24 hour medication cassettes preferred but not required
