Hours: The Pharmacy is open Weekdays 7:30am-7:00pm and Sunday from 9am-5pm.

As a full time non exempt Comprehensive Pharmacy Services, Pharmacy Technician at JFK Medical Center Outpatient Pharmacy you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; and procuring drugs.

Pharmacy: This brand new outpatient pharmacy is located within JFK Medical Center. The pharmacy will administer vaccinations, complete medication therapy management, along with some compounding. This pharmacy will service discharged inpatients, outpatients and employees. The Pharmacy is outsourced to Comprehensive Pharmacy Services.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • New Jersey Pharmacy Technician Registration
  • National certification preferred
  • 3 years of outpatient pharmacy experience
  • Previous Cashier experience
  • Excellent Customer Service
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other members of hospital and pharmacy staff, as well as CPS staff
