PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - FULL TIME
MILWAUKEE COUNTY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH DIVISION (Hospital)
Hours: This position is 40 hours a week; Need to be available to work ROTATING SHIFTS: Monday-Friday between the hours of 6:30AM-8:00PM, and Every THIRD Holiday & Saturday & Sunday:7:00-3:30pm.
About the Facility: The Milwaukee County DHHS Behavioral Health Division (BHD) connects people of Milwaukee County with dependable, high-quality behavioral health services, no matter their severity of need or ability to pay.
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications: (Technician)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
- State Licensure/Registration/Certification requirements
- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written
