PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - FULL TIME

Hours: 40 hours a week Clinic is open M,-Fri. (M, T, TH, Fri. 8:30-5:30 & Wed 8:30AM- 12:30) Scheduled shifts will rotate M-F (8:30a-5p, 8:45a-5:15p, 9a-5:30p)
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
About the facility: Samuel U. Rodgers located at 825 Euclid Ave. in the northeast area of Kansas City, MO 64124 provides outpatient pharmacy & related retail pharmacy service to support the diverse patient population of children, adolescents and adults receiving primary health care services. The services provided include specialty women's health services (OB/GYN and mammography screenings), podiatry, mental health for Children and adults, pharmacy services, digital imaging, lab services, & community outreach services. While language interpreters are on-site to translate in many languages.
Required Qualifications: (Technician)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Recent experience working in Outpatient pharmacy clinic or retail pharmacy setting as a technician.
- State Licensure/Registration/Certification requirements
- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written
- Bilingual or Spanish/English skills preferred.
Hospital Requirements: Documented annual flu vaccination, annual TB testing, annual N95 mask fit testing.
