Job Overview:

The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) of Decentrailzed Clinical Trails (DCT) Solutions will support Enterprise Business Development Directors in opportunity strategy, discovery conversations, presentations, demonstration and solutioning of Drug Development DCT. The BRM will act as the application and technical lead for sales activities and supports the commercial team with overall account strategy and compelling demonstrations of Drug Development product and services, but not limited to the following:

  • Lead customer needs analysis discussions and assists in the generation of solutions to drive industry adoption
  • Assist in the creation of a standardized demonstration environment and structure for consistency in market messaging
  • Supports Business Development from pre-sales support through presentations and demonstrations, sandbox evaluations, and provides strategic direction on the use of technology capabilities that may enhance opportunity for contract award
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer technical infrastructure and business processes to provide solutions tailored to the needs of customers and the market
  • Become a “trusted advisor” to clients focused on outcome-based benefits of technology adoption as an enabler to successful drug development
  • Participate in product demonstrations and/or booth support activities at trade show events
  • Lead application and/or technical product demonstrations
  • Assist with completion of application and/or technical RFI/RFP responses
  • Support effective transition of new accounts to Customer Success team

Your Competencies

  • Knowledge of computer usage in a web-based environment
  • Exposure to SaaS software in the clinical trial or life science industry
  • Minimum of three years of previous technical sales consulting experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of maintaining and curating databases that support product demonstrations
  • Exposure to formal sales methodologies
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent analytical skills, experience designing / applying software solutions to business process challenges
  • Self-motivating, able to assume responsibility and work autonomously in a professional manner
Education/Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree in scientific, business or technology related field; or AA degree with equivalent related experience in position.
Experience:
  • Active working experience (10-15 years) in a pharmaceutical, CRO, IT, or related industry.

Preferred

  • Familiarity working with Decentralized Clinical Trial concepts and articulating advantages of technology enablement to external consumers
  • Experience working in a Contract Research Organization (CRO)
