Senior Scientific -Research Associate - Immunotoxicology-Flow Cytometry

This position is located in Greenfield, IN.
In this role you will...
- Develop technical procedures in various areas in compliance with appropriate SOPs, GLPs, and regulatory agency guidelines.
- Represent supervisors pertaining to technical matters involved with Validation.
- Performs Initial Validations of Flow cytometry methods
- Understand and interpret complex protocols and validation plans.
- Assist in evaluation of data for incorporation into written reports.
- Participate in corrective action of any problems and/or deviations that may affect integrity of data.
- Set up and perform method development, validation and transfer of various Immunotoxicology assays under the guidance of Technical Leader or supervisor.
- Perform complex immunotoxicology assays using unfamiliar or new methods, organizing and analyzing the results.
- Provide input and participate in project meetings, plans, monitors and guides project work.
- Participate in client visits as needed, assists in communicating technical information.
- Effectively plans and utilizes personnel and resources for timely completion of assigned projects.
- Be aware of appropriate regulation guidelines for PD, PK TK etc
- Participate in the introduction of new techniques, methodologies and relevant procedures in collaboration with other Senior Managers.
- PhD preferred, or equivalent degree in immunology, immunotoxicology or related field, or Master's or Bachelor's degree in related discipline plus 5+ years of experience with a strong experience in Flow Cytometry. Experience may be substituted for education.
- 5+ years of related or relevant laboratory experience
- Skilled in conducting research, data interpretation, and writing reports.
- Experience and knowledge of relevant instrumentation.
- Experience with analytical instrumentation is desired.
- Strong knowledge / expertise in Flow Cytometry techniques
- 5+ years of related or relevant laboratory experience
- Prior experience in Immunology & Immunotoxicology procedures, method development, and validation preferred.
- Skilled in conducting research, data interpretation, and writing reports.
- Experience and knowledge of relevant instrumentation.
- Experience in performing scientific presentation and preparing scientific publications.
- Knowledge of GLPs and regulatory agencies is required.
