Job Description
The Rebates Projects Support - Senior Analyst position oversees and helps drive the systems and technology utilized by the Industry Analysis department and any external client using our internal systems to effectively invoice pharmaceutical contracts, accrue to the G/L, collect the cash, and analyze the data.

Additional Responsibilities:

1) Build knowledge of internal systems and underlying table structures and be self-sufficient in being able to query on the tables.

2) Key conduit to our IT department for day to day department support, the support of all rebate related inquiries from other departments, and projects.

3) Identify opportunities for system enhancements.

4) Coordinates and assists with training of personnel in system related activities.

5) Help aid IT with any business process questions and help train IT on those processes.

6) Leads the project from Business perspective, participates and contributes Business and Functional requirements.

7) Plays an active role in every phase of the project life cycle which includes requirements, review design, review QA test cases and test results, work on UAT and perform deploy shakeout.

8) Develops training documents and provides training to users on the project functions.

8) Support deploy activities including coordination of any conversion related activities.

10) Communicates to department on project deploys that provide new/enhanced functionality and fix issues on applications used by the Department.


The successful candidate will possess the following:

Required Qualifications
3 or more years of professional experience, preferably in a technical or analytical role
2 or more years of experience with SQL in a professional or academic setting

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of pharmaceutical products/pharmaceutical industry a plus
Experience working in IT
Experience working on Projects

Education
High school diploma/GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
