The Lease Administration Manager representing the Property Compliance Team supports and assists the Senior Manager of Lease Administration by leading a team of Lease Administrators and Coordinators for escalated property matters and operative matters. Responsibilities are to include: requests for waivers - default monitoring and response - escalated facility matters - operational impact support - disaster support – right of first offers/refusals – certain lease modification requests - provide oversight of the property files maintained within Lease Administration as well as the scanning process and timely review of all incoming mail for the department - Critical date reporting and execution - preparation and delivery of presentations - team engagement and development and other duties as needed are also required. This role will partner with internal and external partners to enhance, create and continue to develop processes to provide the best service possible to our customers. The position will work regularly with Real Estate Legal, Real Estate, A&E, Store Accounting, Risk Mgt, Operators and Facilities in support of our 12,000+ locations. The right candidate will have a strong attention to detail, high communication skills and the ability to negotiate for positive company results. They will need to be able to prepare and review legal documents such as storage, parking, indemnification, renewals and extensions. They will also need to review and approve lease payment authorizations, lease abstracts and other drafted notices to be distributed by the team.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Lease Administration,
Property Management or related field.
- 2+ years experience leading a team
- Negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Communication skills
- Experience with a real estate database preferably Tririga
- Drafting agreements and other correspondence.
- Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Teams
Associates Degree required
Bachelor's degree preferred
