As the Pharmacy Process Innovation-Senior Consultant, you will focus primarily on supporting the identification and implementation of opportunities that aim to improve the financial outcomes, customer service, and efficiency associated with the pharmacy business model.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, using pharmacy and leadership experience to guide project-based work that results in innovative new approaches for supporting pharmacy operations focused on script triage, data entry, and problem resolution. The day-to-day experience of the role will vary – prototyping and testing new operational models, conducting root cause analysis, supporting various change management efforts, designing requirements, and testing new IT solutions. You will routinely interact with the following groups: IS, Product Development, Loss Prevention, Compliance, Pharmacy Operations, Legal, Pharmacy Merchandising, Quality and Safety, & Field Leadership.
Our ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills as it is necessary to work cross-functionally and influence our store teams, field leadership, and internal business partners. They will also have independent leadership skills, as well as analytical and communication skills, and deep pharmacy system and workflow knowledge. In addition, the individual must demonstrate a consistent track record of delivering results.
- 1+ years experience demonstrating strong writing skills in gathering, authoring, managing, and presenting scientific, operational, or metric-based documentation
- 1+ years experience communicating technical results in an easy to understand manner for a non-technical audience
- 2+ years experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Pharmacy, healthcare, agency, consulting, or retail experience
- Experience with SQL
- Bachelor's Degree
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required
