CVS Health Prescription Records team serves as the sole managing interface for Retails' legal, subpoena, regulatory, attorney, patient and third-party record demands for patient and prescriber prescription records. This position will data process these requests and ensure their accuracy of data details provided along with incorporating Protected Health Information and/or Personally Identifiable Information, satisfy regulatory demands and subpoena demands in accordance with state and federal HIPAA/Privacy requirements. This includes direct administration and coordination of responses to first and third parties for requests seeking patient/prescriber Protected Health Information maintained by the CVS Health. Agents will also be responsible for answering calls from customers and third parties requested prescription/prescriber patient prescription information.
-1 to 2 years of experience working with sensitive information and or HIPAA, or
-1 to 2 years of experience working in an environment where a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail are required.
-Ability to work with a high volume, production oriented, time sensitive environment.
-Must maintain the strictest level of confidentiality when dealing with confidential information and Protected Health Information at all levels.
-Strong organization skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize work, maintain flexibility and manage expectations while meeting scheduled deadlines.
-Must be able to function well in a professional team environment.
-Proficiency in data entry, Microsoft Word and Excel, Microsoft Outlook and the ability to master other related department applications.
-Ability to handle inquiries, and exercise good judgment and apply critical thinking skills to solve problems.
-BS degree or equivalent work experience.
-Customer Service experience.
-Prior Patient Prescription Records experience.
-Legal or paralegal experience.
-High school diploma, or G.E.D.
