Responsible for effective management of commissary department, including management of staff and determining quantities of food, beverage and related products required to adequately stock commissary and purchase products on behalf of the company.
Oversee supervision of commissary employees; train/instruct employees on policies, procedures, duties and activities; handle disciplinary matters. Hire and schedule commissary staff to ensure adequate employee coverage
Directly responsible for inventory and cost controls, and handling invoices. Receive commissary merchandise, verifying receiving slips and forwarding invoices; verify inventory; ensure correct stock has been delivered; issue merchandise to stands
Keep abreast of sanitation laws; ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed
Determine quantities of food, beverage and related products required to adequately stock commissary. Purchase on behalf of the company by following established company guidelines.
Prepare various operational reports; keep records pertaining to purchases, sales and requisitions.
3-5 years of experience of high volume inventory purchase, distribution and control required
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills
