The Opportunity

Position Details

Under the direction of the Commissary Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for management of staff and determining quantities of food, beverage and related products required to adequately stock commissary. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Oversee supervision of hourly commissary employees; train/instruct employees on policies, procedures, duties and activities; handle disciplinary matters; Schedule commissary personnel and ensure adequate employee coverage

  • Receive commissary merchandise, verifying receiving slips and forwarding invoices; verify inventory; ensure correct stock has been delivered; issue merchandise to stands; keep abreast of sanitation laws; ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed

  • Determine quantities of food, beverage and related products required to adequately stock commissary; purchase on behalf of the company, following established company guidelines

  • Prepare various operational reports; keep records pertaining to purchases, sales and requisitions

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of food service experience, including previous experience with inventory distribution and control.
  • Must be able to work event schedule to include days, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Strong verbal and written communication skill and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel and MS products
  • Ability to analyze data and make decisions.
  • Familiarity with basic food production techniques and procedures a plus
  • Some college preferred
  • Stadium environment – frequent walking
  • Warehouse oprations - required operation of some machinery
  • Lifting of at least 50 pounds and other products
