Oracle EPBCS Senior Manager

Work you'll do

As a Senior Manager within the Finance & Enterprise Performance team, you will:

  • Lead the full life cycle implementation of Oracle EPBCS from requirements, design, development, and deployment
  • Organize and deliver financial consulting services on a cross-section of complex projects
  • Responsible for the development of business and vendor relationships
  • Lead pursuit teams focused on new opportunities and lead major aspects of the proposal development process
  • Responsible for project(s) financials including development of financial plans
  • Lead day-to-day interactions with executive clients and Deloitte team
  • Establish relationships in strategic client positions; negotiate, lead, and facilitate these relationships
  • Display both breadth and depth of knowledge regarding functional and technical issues
  • Provide counseling/coaching, leadership and support for delivery teams and staff
  • Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities providing input and guidance into the staffing process
  • Focus on managed revenue targets as well as achieving quarterly or yearly sales objectives for new business
  • Lead business development initiatives to grow the Finance team and the Federal practice
  • Manage resources and budget on client projects
  • Client-based travel, up to 80-100%

Finance & Enterprise Performance

Our Finance & Enterprise Performance team works as a trusted advisor to CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and key executives. We advise, implement and deliver on premise and as-a-service technology solutions, helping our clients develop strategies and capabilities to support enterprise-wide decision-making, improve finance operations, and create impact within their organization.



Qualifications

Required:
  • Experience with Planning and Budgeting Systems and/or Experience with Financial Reporting Systems
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance or other business-related field
  • 7+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience in financial analysis, transformation or strategic initiatives
  • 3+ years in a technical or functional leadership role
  • Experience mentoring and coaching others
  • Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Experience managing senior-level client relationships
  • Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
  • Pre-sales, proposal, and RFP experience
  • Proven track record of consistently attaining managed revenue targets as well as achieving quarterly or yearly sales objectives for new business
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required Clearance for this role
Preferred:
  • Experience implementing Oracle EPBCS or PBCS
  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree
  • Prior professional services, Government consulting or higher education experience
  • Deep functional knowledge around financial systems and processes
  • Hyperion or similar enterprise reporting Tools
