M&A IT is a Marketing\nOffering that provides services across all facets of M&A – integration,\nseparation, due diligence, and overall strategy. It is comprised of several different\npractices and disciplines: M&A, TS&A, SI, IM, Deloitte Digital, Oracle,\nand SAP; collaborating and working together to deliver solutions. Coordinating between teams and leveraging\neach other's skills is M&A IT's defining strength. M&A IT advises and supports the client through the entire\nlifecycle while driving value in specific aspects of the lifecycle.

Work you'll\ndo

\n\n

Senior Consultants in\nDeloitte's M&A offering portfolio serve as trusted advisors to their\nclients in both the corporate and private equity space. They synthesize overall strategy by analyzing\na wide variety of solutions, selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet\nspecific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex\nfinancial analysis, and interpreting and reporting on outputs.

\n\n

Our mandate is to enable our clients'\nability to grow, optimize, and fundamentally change the nature of their\nbusiness and competitive position. We do this via M&A, divestiture, and\nrestructuring services from beginning to end.

\n\n\n\n

Our Offering enables pre-deal and\npost-deal integration, divestiture, and major restructuring/cost transformation\nactivities to achieve/exceed deal value, synergy targets, or strategic cost\ntakeout objectives.

\n\n\n\n



Qualifications
\n

A candidate must meet the minimum\nexperience in one or more of the below:
\n
\n

Must have minimum of 5 years in M&A IT or M&A IT Service Delivery:

\n\n

§ Guide clients on key concepts and\nstrategies for M&A engagements, including but not limited to stranded cost\nanalyses, aggressive timelines, business continuity during transformation,\nsynergy identification and capture, system cutovers).

\n\n

§ Synthesize overall operations strategy\nby analyzing a wide variety of business solutions; select the most relevant\ntools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case,\npricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on\noutputs.

\n\n

§ Provide corporate and private\nequity buyers with a broad continuum of advisory services to support mergers,\nacquisitions, carve-outs, investment and financing structures, disposition\nalternatives and post-transaction activities.

\n\n

§ Provide subject matter expertise\nacross critical components of IT (e.g. infrastructure, applications, IT\noperations, IT finances and expenses, Active Directory, end-user computing,\nmessaging, enterprise architecture, testing).

\n\n

§ Advise on industry-leading\nsolutions enabling complex M&A transactions (e.g. SaaS/IaaS,\nvirtualization, public/private clouds, social media, data management and loss\nprevention).

\n\n

§ Lead teams that design, architect,\ndevelop, release, operate, and maintain software and advanced analytics\nproducts created from ideas generated within the Deloitte organization to help\nclients proactively plan and implement post-merger integration activities as\nwell as manage complex carve out projects.

\n\n

§ Assist clients thorough the\ncomplex transitions that come with transactions and transformations that are\npart of that journey including: target identification and pre-deal due\ndiligence, M&A roadmaps, strategies, and synergy targets, developing Day 1\nprojects and plans and post Day 1 planning and execution.

\n\n

§ Work collaboratively within\nintegrated, cross-functional teams to deliver M&A engagements across all of\nphases of the M&A lifecycle include due-diligence, pre-close, and\npost-merger integration.

\n\n

§ Perform business process analysis,\nmapping, and design for M&A projects focused on an IT work stream including\nIT infrastructure separation, data center migration, application\nintegration/separation/rationalization, or IT synergies/cost reduction.

\n\n

§ Participate in setting engagement\nobjectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate\nactivities between workstreams and identify changes in scope.

\n\n

§ Identify and record key deadlines\nfor the workstream in the client engagement to ensure clear communication,\norganization, and coordination between multiple parties; construct a work plan around\nthem that will quickly and effectively achieve client goals whilst also\nallowing for reasonable work time and unexpected delays or pivots.

\n\n

Additional Requirements:

\n\n

§ 5+ years of relevant consulting\nand/or industry experience is required.

\n\n

§ A Bachelor's degree is required;\nan advanced degree is preferred.

\n\n

§ Experience planning and\nimplementing IT integration and separation projects as the result of M&A\nactivity.

\n\n

§ Strong oral and written\ncommunication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint,\nMS Excel).

\n\n

§ Strong problem solving and\ntroubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

\n\n

§ The ability to travel up to 100%\nis required.

\n\n
