Manager,\nFinance Business Partner

\n\n



Work\nyou'll do

\n\n

A Finance Business Partner will have an\nimportant role in supporting a Finance Business Partner Lead and Offering\nPortfolio leadership by providing insights, analysis, and reporting around\nmarket offering and offering performance. \nSupport will include a focus on engagement (managed) views of financials\nas well as understanding profitability drivers and trends.

\n\n

This\nrole is responsible for providing support to leadership to ensure strong\nunderstanding of market offering and offering performance – through an\nengagement (managed) lens. This role\nwill interface with a variety of business leaders (including Market Offering,\nOffering and Offering Portfolio leaders) and work closely with the entire OP finance\nteam to share insights, recommendations, and reports to support decision\nmaking. Additional focus is on\nsupporting the businesses on executing their strategic operational objectives\nand undertaking ad hoc analyses and special projects.

Key Responsibilities include:

\n\n


Leadership\nSupport

\n\n
  • Serve as connection\npoint between Consulting leaders, leadership support teams, Talent, and Finance\nto drive improved operational results and efficiency

  • Provide meaningful,\nactionable insights, advice, and recommendations on historic and the future\nfinancial performance to the Business' leadership

  • Support the business in\nprotecting, growing and optimizing the assets of the Firm

  • Support\ninitiatives to help the business in achieving its strategic objectives

\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Monitoring\nof Period Performance and Execution of Financial/Ops Routines

\n\n
  • Explain, present and\nanalyze the financial performance of the business

    • With\na primary focus on engagement (managed) views of financials and profitability\ndrivers as well as understanding demand trends

  • Focus on transforming\ninformation into insights and actionable decisions

  • Collaborate with the\nFinance Lead, COO, and CoS to prepare analyses related to sales, pipeline,\nrevenue, profitability, operational performance and other KPIs

  • Understand firm systems\nand data to assess implications of operational changes on reporting

  • Innovate next\ngeneration of leadership decision-making support tools and routines

  • Continuously improve\nConsulting Finance and BP&A's organizational efficiency and effectiveness\nby leading internal change initiatives

\n\n

Forecast, Planning, and Ad Hoc Support

\n\n
  • Support forecasting and planning processes as\nneeded so that key inputs are considered

  • Partner with peers within and across the\nother Offering Portfolios to share ideas and collaborate on ways to improve\nfinance routines and processes

  • Conduct other financial analysis and reporting as needed

About the Team

\n\n

The Consulting\nFinance organization provides specialized finance-related services in support\nof the business leaders of the firm. \nThis specific role focuses on one of the main Consulting Offering Portfolios:\nCore Business Operations, Customer & Marketing, Enterprise Operations,\nHuman Capital, M&A, and Strategy & Analytics. Each Offering Portfolio is a large, complex\nbusiness within Consulting and includes a collection of Offerings.




Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree\n in Finance or related subject
  • \n
  • CPA or MBA\n preferred

\n\n



Experience\nRequirements

  • Minimum of 4+\n years of relevant finance experience, preferably in a professional\n services firm and/or with a focus on Financial Reporting & Analysis
