Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Service Specialist 2, Core Business Operations, Core Industry Solutions in New York, NY and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.


Work You'll Do

CREATE SOLUTIONS THAT PROVIDE KEY POTENTIAL BENEFITS TO HEALTH CARE EXECUTIVES, PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT STAFF, AND OPERATIONS LEADERS INCLUDING PERFORMANCE CONTENT THAT MATTERS FOR SPECIFIC FUNCTIONAL DEPARTMENTS AND A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE DRIVERS OF DEPARTMENTAL COST, AND PERFORMANCE. PARTICIPATE IN VARIOUS ASPECTS OF THE FULL DATA DELIVERY LIFECYCLE FOR IMPLEMENTATIONS, WHICH MAY INCLUDE REQUIREMENTS GATHERING, BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYSIS, SCRIPTING, CODE DEPLOYMENTS, ENHANCEMENT VALIDATION, TRIAGE OF DEFECTS AND CHANGE REQUESTS, ESCALATIONS, AND URGENT ISSUES. PERFORM DATA MANAGEMENT, SUCH AS MASTER DATA, METADATA, DATA ARCHITECTURE, DATA GOVERNANCE, DATA QUALITY, DATA MODELING, ETC. REVIEW CLIENT DATA TO ENSURE VALIDITY AND COMPLETENESS AND WORK WITH CLIENTS TO REVISE AS NECESSARY. IDENTIFY, INVESTIGATE, AND RESOLVE ISSUES AND IRREGULARITIES IN DATA THROUGH BOTH IMPLEMENTATION AND TESTING PROJECT PHASES. HELP FUNCTIONAL/BUSINESS FOCUSED MEMBERS OF THE TEAM UNDERSTAND OUR TECHNOLOGY LANDSCAPE AND ACT AS TECHNICAL SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT AS NEEDED. TRACKING AND REPORTING ON PROJECT AND MILESTONE DELIVERABLE STATUS TO ENSURE TIMELY PROJECT DELIVERY AND COMMUNICATION OF UPDATES TO INTERNAL AND/OR EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS. RESEARCH USER REPORTED ISSUES, IDENTIFY ROOT CAUSES AND RESOLUTIONS, IMPLEMENT FIXES, AND LIAISE BETWEEN BUSINESS FUNCTIONS, END USERS, AND TECHNICAL DELIVERY TEAMS.

Requirements

BACHELOR'S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ANY STEM FIELD, OR A RELATED FIELD AND ONE (1) YEAR OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. MUST ALSO HAVE ONE (1) YEAR OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE INVOLVING EACH OF THE FOLLOWING: WORKING ACROSS ALL PHASES OF THE AGILE AND WATERFALL SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLE FOR THE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, TESTING AND IMPLEMENTATION OF DATA ANALYTICS SOLUTIONS; INTERFACING DIRECTLY WITH CLIENT STAKEHOLDERS TO GATHER FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS, ANALYZING CLIENT REQUIREMENTS, AND TRANSLATING REQUIREMENTS INTO PROJECT DESIGNS TO DELIVER SOLUTIONS THAT SATISFY CLIENT NEEDS; DRIVING THE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF SOLUTIONS UTILIZING SQL SERVER, SQL SERVER INTEGRATION SERVICES (SSIS) AND VISUAL BASIC FOR APPLICATIONS (VBA); COORDINATING THE PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES OF CROSS-FUNCTIONAL ONSHORE AND OFFSHORE TEAM MEMBERS TO ENSURE EFFICIENT COMPLETION OF PROJECT TASKS; PERFORMING DATA VALIDATION, DATA INTEGRATION, INVESTIGATING AND RESOLVING DATA RELATED ISSUES AND AD HOC ANALYSIS REQUESTS USING SQL; PERFORMING ISSUE MANAGEMENT AND PROJECT TRACKING USING ATLASSIAN JIRA; AND COORDINATING THE USE OF CONFLUENCE FOR TEAM COLLABORATION AND KNOWLEDGE REPOSITORY.
