Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Specialist, Customer & Marketing, Digital Customer in Lake Mary, FL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You'll Do
Designing and implementing sales and service experiences, capabilities, and architectures required to bring customer strategies to life. Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Estimating time and resources needed for the development work. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, processing design, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. Performing functional, non-functional, system integration, black-box, white-box, and end-to-end testing of software applications. Implementing Object Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts. Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development. Writing functional and technical system requirements and use cases, creating process flow diagrams and finalizing system requirements. Performing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of Object-Oriented analysis and design techniques. Tracking application defects and coordinating defect resolution efforts. Assessing and diagnosing a problem and analyzing the interactions between key drivers. Working with client subject matter experts and business analysts to design, develop an approach for the configuration, estimate configuration effort, and produce design documents.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), CIS, MIS or a related field.
One year of experience as a Solution Specialist, Consultant, Analyst or a position in a related occupation.
Must have one year of experience with:
Developing Visualforce pages, Apex components, Apex triggers, Apex Classes and Apex Controller;
Ensuring Salesforce development standards and mitigating errors from the use of the application by creating salesforce test classes;
Implementing a Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and Salesforce Object Search Language (SOSL) programs to extract data from a database;
Implementing Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts when developing classes;
Participating in project activities using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) models, including Hybrid, Waterfall and Agile;
Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs using knowledge about the Salesforce development, Microsoft TFS, Gearset, Salesforce communities and OOP concepts;
Using Apex classes, salesforce documentation, Visio and Visualforce pages for the design and development of solutions.
15% travel required.
