If so, you may be a great fit for our Specialist Manager supporting the Dell Technologies Alliance. What You'll Do

As a Specialist Manager for Hybrid Cloud Sales, your responsibilities will include:

  • Influencing technology strategies and decisions for Dell Technologies go-to-market (GTM) solutions that drive value for our clients, Dell Technologies, and Deloitte

  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with Dell Technologies technical organizations and Deloitte leadership

  • Providing technical support to Deloitte practitioners on client engagements by serving as a subject matter expert on relevant topics (e.g. standards, technologies, and integration)

  • Helping drive business development efforts and developing innovative principles, ideas, and materials to enhance joint pursuits

  • Leading and managing the day-to-day activities of additional Solution Architects on the Dell Technologies Alliance Team

  • Contribute to Practice Development activities such as Communities of Practice, Methods, Training materials and Standards Development

  • Mentorship of lower level practitioners in the Deloitte Hybrid Cloud practice

  • Public facing content development, public speaking at conferences, trade booth presence, campus and professional recruiting activities.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree preferred

  • Experience with Dell preferred but similar experiences with other vendors should apply

  • Dell Technologies certifications preferably at the Professional or Architect level

  • 6+ years of overall IT Infrastructure experience in support, delivery or sales

  • 4+ years of experience in Dell Technologies solutions architecture, development, or delivery

  • 2+ years of VMware Cloud Architecture experience desired; VMC on AWS and/or NSX experience a plus

  • Strong Dell Technologies competencies (Dell EMC, Boomi, Virtustream, Pivotal, RSA, and VMware)

  • 2+ years Technical sales or PreSales expertise, large enterprises preferred

  • 1+ years leading a design and development team or organization

  • Deep knowledge of at least one major Cloud Platform, AWS preferred, GCP, or Azure

  • Working knowledge of Cloud Automation tools (Chef, Puppet, Salt Stack, etc.) and Containers

  • Working knowledge of Cloud Delivery methods such as IaaS, PaaS and SaaS, DRaaS

  • Basic understanding of Hybrid Cloud technology

  • Strong skills in IP Networking, hands-on experience preferred

  • Knowledge of Software Defined Networks and Software Defined Data Centers a plus

  • Willingness to learn and apply new skills/technologies at a rapid pace

  • Strong capabilities in estimating costs of Cloud services such as compute, storage, ingress/egress and on-demand features

  • Experience working with teams consisting of off-shore and/or partner team members

  • Experience crafting client value propositions and supporting technical alignment efforts

  • Willingness to learn and apply new skills/technologies at a rapid pace

  • Willingness to assist with Sales process by creating technical presentations, sales collateral, and white papers

  • Ability to work effectively without full information to form a solution based on best practices

  • Ability to communicate clearly and convincingly as a Subject Matter Expert on technical topics

  • Ability to clearly and convincingly communicate business value of solutions to Deloitte and partner leadership

  • Ability to lead teams developing prototypes, proof of concepts and demos for Dell Technologies

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills
