Voice Engineer

Work you'll do

\n\n



\n

As a\nVoice Engineer you will:

  • Manage the design, build and implementation of tasks for Avaya or Genesys enterprise\nsolutions as well as provide on-going support for related systems
  • Provide Level 3 support\n and any other duties as assigned. You will be supporting VoIP telephony\n systems for Federal Civilian and DoD contact centers and back office\n business units
  • \n
  • Provide expertise in the plan,\n design, build, implementation and operations of tasks for complex\n converged networks
  • \n
  • Support VoIP telephony\n systems as well as integrated network environments for DoD, Civilian and State\n & Local contact centers and back office business units
  • \n
  • Partner with outside service\n providers in support of VoIP environment, as well as manage VoIP\n devices in accordance with best practices and Federal security standards,\n approved methods, and procedures
  • \n
  • Work in large\n enterprise-class network environments, supporting converged technologies
  • \n
  • Lead discovery-related\n conversations, workshops, and associated deliverables for stakeholders
  • \n
  • Anticipate client needs and\n formulate solutions to client issues
  • \n
  • Manage, mentor, coach and\n train junior staff on an ongoing basis
  • \n

    | Help clients build capabilities to better understand\n customer value drivers and make choices about the markets and segments\n they serve through digital, social, and mobile channels; optimize pricing\n decisions and shape the most strategic issues on the CMO agenda

  • Customer\n Experience

    | Help clients improve the quality, nature and power of\n interactions between the customer and the organization across the\n lifecycle of sales, marketing and service at each touch point.

  • Applied\n Innovation

    | Help clients rapidly design, prototype and launch new\n businesses and experiences, translating insights on human behavior from\n design-led methods into offerings and technologies that delight customers\n and drive growth

  • Digital Strategy

    | Help clients\n understand, envision and articulate “digital” as a business strategy\n aligned with their CEO's agenda – and then craft a plan to embed\n everything they do with the latest technology solutions and business\n models to compete in the marketplace for customers and talent

Qualifications

\n\n\n\n

• \nBachelor's degree in Engineering,\nCommunications or relevant discipline

\n\n

• \nEligible to obtain and/or maintain a DoD security\nclearance

\n\n

• 8+ years contact center technology and operations\nexperience required

\n\n

• 4+ years within a technology leadership role

\n\n

• \nStrong client service and consulting skills

\n\n

• \nExperience with United Voice Communications

\n\n

• \nAbility\nto travel 75% or more as needed

\n\n\n\n
