Work you'll do 

As a Workday HCM Consultant on our Human Capital team, you will:

  • Identify business requirements, support or lead requirements management, functional design, prototyping, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), testing, training, defining support procedures and supporting implementations.
  • Interact with client leadership and staff to implement technology-enabled business solutions 
  • Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues
  • Organize and deliver services on a cross-section of projects 
  • Appeal to wide audiences through clear and succinct written and verbal communication
  • Develop contract deliverables using the following tools: word processing (MS Word), spreadsheet (MS Excel), presentation creation tools (MS PowerPoint), Internet research tools, etc.
  • Mentor junior staff & assist in proposal development, as requested

Qualifications 

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2 years of professional experience, preferably with a large consulting firm
  • Experience leading/contributing in at least 1 large, full life cycle HCM implementation (Preferably Workday)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
  • Travel up to 80% (While 80% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)

Preferred:

  • Workday HCM certified
  • An advanced degree in the area of specialization
  • Strong functional knowledge around HCM systems and processes (Benefits, payroll, recruiting..)
