Position Title:

External Description: Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with finance, accounting and strategic needs including tax planning, compliance management, operational decision-making, organizational ownership transactions and other practical financial matters.
  • Support training of tax associates and assist managers/partners in development of staff
  • Prepare (Review) tax returns and provisions involving complex issues with a focus on middle-market companies (C Corporation, S Corporation, and Partnership) and their related owners
  • Conduct complicated tax research and communicate related findings.
  • Keep informed of current tax developments and effectively apply tax knowledge/research to a specific client's situations.
  • Handle multiple tasks and manage your schedule to meet internal and external deadlines
  • Maintain excellent communication skills and demonstrate ability to interact effectively at all levels.



  • BA or BS in Accounting or related field required, Masters Degree preferred
  • 3+, years in public accounting or corporate experience in a tax environment preferred
  • Strong skills in research and writing required
  • Experience with multi-state filings
  • Thorough working knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
  • Proficient verbal and written English communication skills; ability to communicate effectively required
  • Strong skills in tax research and writing preferred
  • CPA certification preferred
