Description

We are looking for a Clinical Manager to provide leadership, coverage and consultation/supervision for the clinical and nursing team. The clinical manager directly manages staff members, oversees the group therapy component of the program and assists with the operations of the clinical program. The clinical manager is a vital part of the Eating Recovery Center team as they provide therapy and educational services to patients and families in a manner that supports the treatment model and mission of ERC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, trains, and provides ongoing clinical and job supervision for Case Managers
  • Collaborates with Clinical Leadership in coordinating and providing group supervision/advanced clinical training for Case Managers and Therapists
  • Assists Clinical Leadership with all recruitment efforts
  • Provides onboarding/initial training for Primary Therapists and other staff as needed
  • Provides clinical supervision for floor staff as needed
  • Oversees group therapy component of program
  • Provides individual, family, and group therapy as need dictates
  • Provides presentations/talks on various clinical topics to internal and external groups to increase knowledge and awareness
  • Promotes a positive and supportive work environment that is aligned with the companys core values
  • Works with Leadership and employees on ways to strengthen and sustain coordination and collaboration between departments
  • Works with Leadership on improving and maintaining unit-wide communication systems
  • Develops/refines behavioral protocols to ensure consistency in treatment planning
  • Updates and revises policies and procedures, as requested by Clinical Leadership
  • Reviews program needs and tracks/monitors service implementation to assist unit leadership in ensuring high quality, effective, compliant, patient-centered service delivery that is aligned with organizations mission
  • Ensures organizations treatment philosophy is cohesively presented throughout the Program
  • Helps to ensure clinical teams compliance with HIPAA and JCAHO or other regulatory agencies
  • Troubleshoots challenges/crises in the patient milieu
  • Collaborates with the Leadership in providing debriefing/support for patient milieu, primary treatment teams, and floor staff following crises
  • Assists Clinical Leadership with assigning patients to primary teams
  • Supports Clinical Leadership by covering team meetings when needed and covering for Clinical Leader when Director is not available

Education and/or Experience:

  • Masters degree in clinical/counseling psychology or social work
  • LCSW, LPC, LMHC, LMFT or similar licensure
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience working in an eating disorder treatment setting, preferably with 2+ years of prior supervisorial responsibilities
  • Well-versed in the main therapeutic model(s) of the clinical program on that unit

Required License or Certification:

  • LCSW, LPC, LMHC, LMFT or similar licensure
