The Advanced Manufacturing Operator is responsible for performing any of the CR9 pool positions. Must be able to use miscellaneous equipment and work from miscellaneous verbal and written instructions.
- The Advanced Manufacturing Operator will be responsible for assembly of printed wire assembly (PWA) boards, subassemblies, application of labels and operation of testing equipment.
- Participate in and support process improvement projects and initiatives as required.
Education and Skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to understand verbal and written directions, bills of materials, assembly instructions, assembly drawings and associated written materials
- Ability and willingness to learn basic PC skills
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs
- Must be able to distinguish colors
- Take responsibility for keeping work area free of hazards. Adhere to all established safe work practices
The CR09 Advanced Manufacturing Operator job classification is a “pool” position meaning it involves numerous possible work assignments, the quality system training requirements for which vary as follows:
- Assembly – IPC Level 3
- Post-Assembly – IPC Level 2
- Materials – IPC Level 1
The candidate selected will be expected to successfully complete the training required for their assignment.
