In addition to performing some or all responsibilities of the function, the Team Lead handles technical issues and questions, coordinates and performs training, and may contribute to goal and performance review processes with the Transactions Supervisor. Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.
 
AS A TRANSACTIONS TEAM LEAD, YOU WILL: 

  • Provide leadership and technical assistance when needed to ensure daily cash application functions are completed within SLA.
  • Assist Transactions Supervisor in implementing new policies/procedures for operational improvement.
  • Complete daily reporting and ensure accuracy of data.
  • Assist in the integration of new businesses into CFS.
  • Point person for establishing new non-Oracle transaction processing.
  • Assist Transactions Supervisor in managing inquiries with multiple banks for access requests, system issues and balancing errors.
  • First point of contact with business unit/site personnel on inquiries related to specific transactions; i.e. misdirected payments, adjustments and G/L issues.
  • Subject matter expert and technical support to transactions team.
  • Monitor weekly reports and provide assistance when needed to ensure all metrics are met.
  • Assist Transactions Supervisor in ensuring all daily processing tasks are completed as required to meet daily balancing and monthly close requirements.

You use your sharp problem-solving skills to understand data and how it is processed to analyze and solve complex problems while sharing corrective action plans to prevent reoccurrence with your team.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • High School diploma or general equivalency degree (GED)
  • 3+ years of Accounting or Finance Experience 

 PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:  
  • Four year business-related degree preferred 
  • Cash Application experience 
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Oracle or other ERP experience (Great Plains or SAP)
  • Ability to research and problem solve
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to obtain data from multiple sources
  • Make decisions and identify problems
  • Flexibility, dependability, teamwork, organization skills, good time management and willingness to learn
