AS A CO-OP - MECHANICAL ENGINEERING (FALL 2020), YOU WILL:
- Perform basic laboratory tasks to assist in the completion of engineering project assignments.
- Effectively communicate the status of project assignment to project tech and/or supervisor.
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
- GPA of 2.75 or higher
- Mechanical Skills to work in a laboratory environment
- Two years of engineering coursework completed
- Good troubleshooting skills and problem solving skills
- Good Communication skills
- Good PC Skills
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Junior or higher class status preferred
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Basic Refrigeration knowledge (ammonia) a plus
- Mechanical aptitude to work on rotating equipment
- Prior co-op or internship experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
