Summary of role:

For our Marketing department at the Europe Solution Center in Aachen, Germany, we are looking for a Market Manager who will be responsible for the strategic development of components and solutions serving a specific segment of the Comfort market (Air Conditioning and Heating).

Job responsibilities:

  • Perform market research and segmentation

  • Transform voice-of-the-customer / market data into product and/or service requirements

  • Develop and execute market strategies

  • Develop business plans as well as specifications of new products

  • Launch new products, including positioning, messaging, differentiation and training

  • Articulate product value proposition and promote through deployment of communication plans

  • Manage product portfolio and life-cycle

  • Coordinate plans with Sales and Marketing organizations in other world regions

Required qualifications and experience:

  • University degree in Engineering. Education in Business Management, Marketing or similar is desired; MBA would be an advantage.

  • At least 10 years of Product Marketing Management experience or similar in an international business environment

  • Expertise in HVAC or refrigeration components and/or systems

  • Solid technical knowhow of electronic controls and/or power electronics

  • Customer-oriented mindset, analytical skills, business acumen and strong execution skills

  • Fluency in English. Other languages are an asset.
