By joining us as a Sales and Operations Planning Analyst you take the lead in preparing World Area demand and supply templates for both site and WA's views.
You will work to submit data driven templates to both European Sales Stakeholders, European demand planners and for updates. The submission and updates of the demand templates released and completed by the analyst will follow the Sales & Operations Planning Emerson calendar, so the responsibility of maintaining the cadence of the calendar will rely on the execution of this role.

SCOPE OF THE ROLE:
Supports the demand management and operational optimization of one of Emerson's Business Units;
Supports the alignment of European Customer Demand profile to the Business Unit;
Assists the Business Unit European sites in managing their resources;
Active support in the demand calls;
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the iterative development of the process.
Aggregates site result to generate an overall European constrained S&OP overview based on updates and approval from European Demand Planners.
Conducts an ongoing audit of the ABC Inventory Management Classification – Based on Demand and forecast.
Ensures that BU sites maintains an inventory monitoring tool focused on PFEP (Plan For Every Part) inventory modelling.
Maintains On time Delivery (RDSL) and Lead-time alignment between the Regional FC, (Fulfillment Centers).
Maintains forecasting process between FC and supplying plants for key components.
Maintains S&OP metrics – MAPE (Mean Absolute Percentage Error) / prediction accuracy, for focus sites.
Provides monthly site update on E&O (excess and obsoletes); detailing disposition and actions based on policy.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
5 to 6 years' experience in Materials, Supply Chain, and/or Sales & Operations planning;
Direct production, inventory management and material planning/scheduling experience is an advantage;
Degree in Engineering/Business or related field;
- Very Strong Microsoft Excel skills, must know Excel Macro;
- Great presentation skills
- Visual Basic (VB)/Tableau data Base is preferred;
- Experience and knowledge of ERP systems (SAP and Oracle) would be nice to have;
- Good understanding of the S&OP 5 process steps: Forecast, Demand, Supply, Consensus, Executive;
- Practical understanding of S&OP driven Materials Management including forecasting, scheduling, capacity analysis and inventory management;
- Certification in Production and Inventory Management would be nice to have;
- Demonstrative analytical skill;
- Strong customer focus, ability to communicate clearly, good presentation skills, problem solving skills and ability to work with teams remotely;
- Excellent English communication skills both orally and written;
