Join our team and start your journey today.If you are an engineering professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our Seattle, WA location, you will perform a variety of complex engineering functions as related to the installation, service and maintenance of the Company products to meet the customer's requirements.

  • Provide technical direction and administration of the filed engineering portion on major projects
  • Advise on manpower and material resources for major projects
  • Receive and investigate customer complaints. Resolve and/or recommend solutions to these complaints
  • Advise customers on technical matters
  • Initiate on the time reports to keep management informed on project progress
  • Keep up on to date on latest software and hardware developments
  • Provide guidance and training for lower level field engineers
  • Develop and maintain good customer relations
  • Communicate with other engineering departments on problems and their solutions
  • Assist in preparation of technical proposals
  • Participate in Subject Matter Expert groups as a SME lead for the region
  • Provides weekly status reports and updates to the regional manager

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 years of field related experience
  • Has demonstrated the ability to be self sufficient on a project installation and start-up and has provided direction to others by applying advanced service technologies and practices
  • Understanding of networking switches and routers
  • Understanding of loading software on Window based computers
  • Good troubleshooting skills when it comes to electrical wiring
  • Requires up to 80% travel  
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States –
