The candidate will be an essential member of a team-oriented Turbine Retrofit Project Group with responsiblities for customer order/specification review, project management and turbine control system engineering. Strong project management skills, technical leadership, innovative thinking in the execution of Gas Turbine control system retrofit projects. Duties will require experience with General Electric, Siemens/Westinghouse, Pratt Whitneym Alstrom, and other major OEM control systems is desired. The successful candidate will possess effective skills for interfacing with internal and external customers.
- Reviewing and maintaining customer specifications to project scope
- Managing as-sold financial performance of projects
- Multiple project project management coordination with customers
- Managing internal schedules and resources
- Provide direction and engineering support to project team
- Mentor, instruct, and guide project personnel
- Management of project deliverables
- Manage in-house project and site installation schedules/activities and associated resources
- Develop project specific control system I/O database
- Develop retrofit redline/whiteline and installation drawing packages
- Engage in implementation and test phases of turbine designs
The successful caniddate will have :
- Strong project management and installation/maintenance experience
- Strong technical competency with control systems and sub-systems related to combustion turbines
Position requires 15% travel
The position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical engineering preferred) and a minimum of seven years of directly related experience with managing and executing turbine control retofit projects is required.Work Authorization
