Description
Main Responsibilities
- Provides product and quotation support for Fisher custom solution involving application review and sales interaction
- Perform and document design calculations and analysis
- Aligns with project MIB initiatives and explore cost reduction initiatives
- Collaborate with SPG Quote Team to support budgetary and firm quotes
- Execution of orders involving product design modifications, verification of product structure and validation with custom solution offered
- Provides timely response to query on change order opportunities
- Support factory manufacturing issue and complete the design modification according to BOM/drawings
- Recommends and implements process improvements to drive continuous improvement and reporting
Qualifications /Experience
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Materials Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar
- Two or more years' engineering experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, product evaluation/testing, or other relevant experience is preffered
- Ability to perform engineering calculations and proficiency with 3D CAD software
- Understanding of technical drawings, basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and material properties
- Good verbal and written communication skills (English & Chinese)
- Meticulous with strong orientation to details
