Englewood Health, an award winning community teaching hospital, is seeking a full-time, Board Certifed Physician Assistant to join the Englewood Health Physician Network (EHPN) – Surgical team.
This incredible opportunity will require the ideal candidate to demonstrate expertise in all levels of patient care to include: excellent clinical care, precise documentation and strong patient engagement for the patient.
The Physician Assistant will be expected to assist various surgical specialties in the Operating Room. The PA will assist with the documentation of the patient's complete medical history and physical exam for patients in consultation, counsel patients and their families, directly communicates with referring and consulting physicians, and communicates plans of care with patients and their families.
1-2 years of experience as a surgical provider preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
Ability to prioritize and strong attention to detail required
Physician Assistant (PA): Bachelor's Required, Master's Degree Preferred
Physician Assistant (PA):
- Current NJ PA license and certification by NCCPA
- Current BLS and ACLS
- Current CDS license
- Current DEA license
