Description
Englewood Hospital is seeking an Assistant Medical Director of the Cancer Treatment and Wellness Center Pulmonary program.
The physician, in partnership with administrative leadership, will identify and deploy best practices (ION Robotic Bronchoscopy) and standards in clinical and operational care delivery for thoracic malignancies, working in close collaboration with the surgical leaders and medical oncologists, as well as the entire care team.
Create and foster relationships between primary care physicians, pulmonologists and the entire cancer center at Englewood Health to increase the identification and diagnosis of thoracic malignancy as early as possible.
Assume significant responsibility for expanding lung cancer screening, working closely with the radiology department.
Approximately 25% of Physician's time will be devoted to the organization and administration of the above goals. Integral to these goals will be the ability to travel to primary care offices, oncology practices, pulmonary groups, urgent care facilities, etc.
Job Essentials:
1-2 years of experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
Ability to prioritize and strong attention to detail required
Education requirements:
- M.D. or D.O. degree
License/Certification/Registry:
- Board Certified, Pulmonologist
- Must have a Medical License in the State of New Jersey
- Current CDS license
- Current DEA license
