Join our fantastic team at Broward Health Medical Center, Pediatric Emergency Department, for a Full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant located in Fort Lauderdale. This is an excellent opportunity to work with our dedicated Pediatric Emergency Medicine team!
Position Profile:
- Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
- 27,000 annual pediatric visits
- 14-Bed Pediatric ED with 2 bed Fast Track
- 12 hour shifts
- Full sub-specialty back-up
- Cerner EMR currently & moving to EPIC in Nov 2024

Qualifications: Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant candidates MUST be certified with 1 YEAR of post-graduate Pediatric Emergency Medicine experience. Note: We are not able to consider new graduate candidates or candidates with no Peds experience.

Children in western Broward County can also access emergency care at Salah Foundation Children's Hospital at Broward Health Coral Springs.
In addition to the 24/7 on-site emergency and trauma teams, Broward Health's emergency departments have specialized care teams on-call around the clock to ensure patients receive the comprehensive, multidisciplinary care required for their conditions.
