The Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring high quality and cost-effective health service to patients; and coordinates medical standards with patient-centered performance criteria.
Current State of California RN licensure. Current BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS, in addition PALS is required, or must obtain within 6 months from date of hire. Specialty certifications preferred. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; RN I - new grad up to two years of nursing experience in a hospital, managed care, skilled nursing or other health care setting. At least two years of nursing experience in facility-based nursing preferred. RN II – three or more years as an RN with a broad spectrum of clinical experience. ER/critical care preferred. Home Health or case management experience highly desirable. Computer literacy and typing skills required. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; to handle stressful situations; to multi-task in an efficient, thorough, and prioritized manner; to work quickly, accurately and independently; and, to anticipate needs and solve problems. Duties require the ability to devote an extra degree of professionalism and patience with our clients. Applicant must present a caring and professional attitude toward all contacts.
