Description

The Security Architecture Analyst is responsible for contributing to the design, secure development and maintenance of Estee Lauder's Security controls/infrastructure. This will encompass supporting security assessments of infrastructure and applications, and defining security standards, developing and implementing security controls using Agile and DevOps frameworks.
This position will directly contribute to the overall global enterprise security architecture. This role will also provide security architecture around cloud-based applications, on-prem Infrastructure and security assessment/consulting services to business and other towers on new projects.
This is a position one level above entry level and is intended for an individual with deep competency and minimal experience.
Must have a desire to learn and be constantly evaluating the evolving security industry to be on top of the latest innovations in IT and cybersecurity, performing fit-analysis of new technologies.
•Serves as a Security Architect Analyst with the primary responsibility for organizing, coordinating, scheduling changes, and identifying new requirements necessary to meet day-to-day, and future, cybersecurity objectives •Provides research into cybersecurity architecture technologies such as network, infrastructure, endpoints, mobile, cloud and detection capabilities •Participates in network and systems design to support implementation of appropriate systems security policies. •Supports the design and development of security technologies in accordance with the standards, processes, and guidelines for the enterprise developed by the ECR Governance, Regulatory and Compliance team •Provides innovative thinking in terms of best practice, cost management, potential products/services, and application of emerging technologies •Creates security and solutions documentation •Familiarity with security products from a variety of vendors, such as: •NextGen Firewalls, •Multi-Factor/strong Authentication •Encryption/tokenization •Splunk Logging •Endpoint Technologies •Mobile technologies •Cloud security technologies •Familiarity with a variety of security concepts: DMZ architectures, cryptography, forensics techniques, PKI and digital certificates/signatures •Understanding of and familiarity with IT processes including architecting of solutions for enterprise scalability, configuration management, resiliency planning, and security technology orchestration.

Qualifications


•BS in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or related IT discipline •1-3+ years of working experience in Information Security Domains •Solid understanding of information security standards & practices •Scripting expertise using Python and similar tools. •Azure and AWS Engineering or Architectural experience preferred. Google Cloud a plus. •Skilled knowledge in a broad range of security controls and risk management frameworks (NIST, PCI, ISO 2700x, etc.) with regards to information security, risk management, and privacy •Excellent communication, verbal, and writing skills.
