Company: FedEx Express APAC Job Title: Solutions Manager Job Requisition Number: RC425938 Locations: Hong Kong, Hong Kong Job Category: Sales/Solutions Time Type: Full Time Job Type: Temporary Job Posting End Date: 2021-12-11 Customer Solution Design & Implementation (1 year contract with renewal potential) POSITION INFORMATION This is a senior professional position responsible for improving customer's supply chain/logistics leveraging FedEx portfolio of transportation and supply chain services. Supporting the Sales organization to provide customized transportation solutions and generate new business, he/she will lead the design, development and implementation of customer integrated transportation and/or logistics projects. Solutions Design and Implementation Conduct details of customer requirement in transportation Analyse customers' requirements and propose FedEx transportation or logistics services Design solutions within and outside the context of FedEx's service capabilities Create tailor-made transportation solution for customer, as well as develop all business documentation/operating plans that are required for solutions development; Assist in the development of customer proposal, Identify budget and internal and external resources in order to ensure optimal and effective solutions are developed to satisfy customer needs and generate revenue Project Management Act as the project leader of a cross functional team (without direct reporting relationship) of customer transportation or logistics projects to ensure timely and successful project launch. Effective communication with project team members (functional departments in the country/overseas and sister company alignment will be required to run the projects successfully. Education: Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, finance, engineering or information systems Related Experience: Six (6) years experience in business planning, logistics and distribution planning, engineering, consulting , computer technologies or related, of which Four (4) years in program management and/or global/international transportation industry At FedEx Express, we believe that a connected world is a better world.
