The Workplace Consulting PensionSpecialist is the cornerstone of the participant experience as it relates tothe administration of retirement benefits for our client base. This role willfrequently partner with our actuarial and consulting groups, call centers,clients, participants, and other Fidelity teams to ensure that benefits arepaid timely and accurately. The Pension Specialist is at the forefront ofthe day to day administration of the retirement plans and is a criticalcomponent in our service model.

TheExpertise You Have

  • Bachelor Degree preferred
  • 1 to 3 years of business experience preferably within a customer facing role
  • Detail-oriented with good mathematical and analytical skills
  • Technically inclined with application experience and aptitude (e.g., Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
  • Defined benefits experience a plus

The Value You Deliver
  • Play an integral role servicing existing and new clients in defined benefit retirement plan administration, including a full range of administrative and operational support services to a variety of defined benefit clients and plan participants in a fast paced and time sensitive environment
  • Analyzing, performing, and reviewing non-automated manual calculations
  • Setting up defined benefit payments based on participant direction
  • Addressing client requests and responding to participant inquiries
  • Supporting and participating in special ad hoc projects as needed
