GENERAL SUMMARY - Student Hourly, Math Student Assistant #500000 BCC
Math Student Assistants (SAs) work alongside an instructor to answer students' questions on coursework in the Math Lab or in modular math courses. SAs in modular classes will have some meetings with the instructor out of class.
- Math Lab: Completed MAT 121 with a B or higher.
- Modular courses: Completed the associated course with a B or higher.
- Provide a reference from a Front Range Community College math instructor.
- Must be a FRCC student enrolled in at least 6 credits for the current semester.
- Good organization skills
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Front Range Community College, as required by the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), has compiled a comprehensive Campus Security Report. This report includes information about crime statistics from the previous three years, campus security policies as well as prevention programs. Information pertaining to the Boulder County, Larimer and Westminster campuses as well as the Brighton Center are also made available in this report.
