The GAF Business Model Innovation team aims to bring together the brightest minds in business, technology and innovation to work jointly in identifying, creating and building new and scalable business models focused on disrupting the building materials industry.
GAF is seeking a highly motivated Business Model Innovation Programs Manager to partner with innovation, commercial and cross-functional teams to discover insights, develop market and business hypotheses, build prototypes and experiments, and validate assumptions through piloting/partnering with target customers, leading to commercializing breakthrough products, services, and business platforms that deliver long-term growth. This role will be responsible for managing and accelerating a specific portfolio of strategic and transformational business model innovation initiatives and will be instrumental in institutionalizing innovation processes and methodologies within the GAF organization.
Evaluate market trends, competitive activity, key customer jobs-to-be-done and whitespace opportunities that can deliver-long term business model innovation pipeline.
Facilitate brainstorming, customer co-creation workshops, sprints and ideation workshops to create and evaluate new and innovative business models to address uncovered customer needs.
Accelerate the development and testing of new, innovative solutions through visualizations (customer/stakeholder journey maps, low-fi concepts, etc.), prototypes, and Minimally Viable Products (MVP's) to bring concepts to life.
Manage a portfolio of ongoing pilot experiments and work to identify creative alternatives and best options to drive the overall progress of the portfolio with the aim of demonstrating commercial viability and feasibility of being adopted by core business.
Collaborate with commercial teams, consumer insights and R&D to establish the strategy, requirements, schedule and budget for driving in-market experiments and pilots to test new innovative concepts and assumptions.
Execute a project management approach that will build capability and accelerate agility within innovation initiatives.
Build relationships with internal stakeholders and function as a knowledge base and resource for strategy, commercial and innovation teams.
QUALIFICATIONS AND MINDSET:
5+ years experience and track record of enabling innovation initiatives that have brought products and/or services to market with clear realization of commercial success.
Skilled facilitator with deep experience leading multi-disciplinary marketing and innovation workshops in environments where markets and customers are ambiguous/undefined.
Communicator: Strong verbal and visual presentation skills. Open, articulate and pro-active in discussing issues and sharing information. A great listener. Effective evangelist, teaching and coaching others on innovation processes and outcomes.
Team-oriented: Able to collaborate in team-based environment to support and inspire other team members through collaboration, direction, vision and delivery of work.
Entrepreneurial: Thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment and is excited by the chance to play a larger role, building new initiatives from scratch to scale.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCES:
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master's in Innovation preferred.
5+ years of relevant marketing and commercial experience.
Demonstrated track record of delivering new products, solutions and/or business models.
Familiar and potentially certified in project management frameworks and tools, particularly those related to the innovation, or design thinking, process.
Exceptional ability to co-create and work collectively with various business leaders and other key stakeholders.
Experience in developing, implementing and/or operating innovation delivery and marketing activation processes in a consumer or B2B focused company.
Proven ability to develop and execute best in class marketing plans and programs.
Mastery of the marketing process, with demonstrated experience in pricing, positioning, placement and promotion.
Proven analytical skills, including performance tracking, product and brand P&L.
Extensive experience and skills in project management.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to organize, conceptually interpret and clearly communicate material developed collaboratively via the input of multiple parties; translate complexity into actionable plans.
Background in consumer marketing desirable.
