Role Summary: The Compliance Policies & Procedures Leader is responsible for developing & executing GE Healthcare's compliance policies/procedures framework globally. This role will develop/implement global strategy for compliance policy and procedure creation and promulgation, ensure that policies & procedures are consistent with applicable laws/ regulations, relevant industry codes of conduct/GE policies/enterprise standards, and create guidance to business teams on compliance requirements.
Essential Responsibilities: Primary Responsibilities:
• Strategy and roadmap: Develop and implement a global compliance policy and procedure strategy and tactical plan. • Policy and procedure framework: Establish a global compliance policy and procedure framework that (1) defines the intended purpose and audience for various document types, (2) sets forth the hierarchy and inter-relationship between document types, (3) establishes the policy and procedure development lifecycle, and (4) establishes roles and responsibilities for policy and procedure development, review, and promulgation. • Standards: Create globally consistent standards for policy and procedure document structure, format and readability.
• Policy and procedure development: Author policies and procedures in partnership with and with inputs from key stakeholders and subject matter experts. Establish processes to regularly review policy and procedure documents for consistency with GE policies and enterprise standards and applicable laws and regulations. Incorporate learnings from investigations, monitoring and auditing activities into policy and procedure revisions. • Deployment: Develop and execute a strategy to deploy policies and procedures to ensure that policies are easily accessible by impacted teams. Partner with the Compliance Training and Communications leader to ensure that policy requirements are incorporated into training and communication strategies. Partner with region compliance leaders on policy implementation strategies.
This individual must have a proven record of being thorough, fair, and objective with attention to detail, and timely and adapt easily to working in a diverse and multicultural work environment.

Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor's degree, J.D./Masters degree preferred but not required. • A minimum of five years of professional experience in compliance, law, or related field. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Strong leadership with experience in supporting a globally distributed team.
• Player/coach who is effective in executing both individual responsibilities and team responsibilities. • Word, Power Point and Excel skills are required. • Professional fluency in English is required. • Foreign language skills a plus.

Desired Characteristics: • Post-graduate degree in law, business or another relevant field. • Previous experience in developing and deploying compliance policies and procedures for a large global organization. • Knowledge of key laws/regulations (e.g., FCPA and other global ABAC laws/regulations, AKS/FCA) and/or core GEHC compliance processes, policies/procedures, tools, and controls. • Lean or Six Sigma experience. • Process and detail-oriented, including strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Self-motivated with ability to handle a large and varied project load simultaneously, to multitask, and to work independently with minimal supervision. • Highest personal integrity with demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters in a discreet and respectful manner that inspires trust. • Outstanding communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at various levels of the organization. • Outstanding facilitation and presentation skills, with proven ability to prepare and present complex subject matter in a clear, concise, and compelling manner. • High level of cultural sensitivity, flexibility and emotional intelligence in order to work effectively within a multicultural environment.
